A result combines network ownership and approximate location data. Read the fields together rather than treating the map pin as a precise address.

- Read provider and address type before interpreting the city.
- If location is unexpected, compare the same IP at the same time; do not compare different connections.

What can an IP lookup tell me?
See the approximate location, internet provider, network, and time zone of a public IP address. It does not reveal a person’s name, phone number, or home address.
Is the location precise?
IP location is approximate, not GPS data. VPNs, mobile networks, and provider routing can make an address appear in a different city.
How does bulk lookup work?
Paste up to 20 addresses on the bulk lookup page. Separate them with new lines or commas. Duplicate addresses are queried once. Download the results as CSV.
How is lookup data processed?
The queried IP address is sent to ipwho.is to retrieve location information. This application does not maintain a query history database; hosting and data providers may retain technical logs. Your language is determined by the page address.
