Prepare the list
Enter up to 20 IP addresses on the bulk lookup page. Separate them with line breaks, spaces, or commas. Remove URLs, ports, and CIDR prefixes beforehand because the tool expects individual addresses. Repeated addresses are queried only once.
Read results together
Compare country, city, and provider fields. Successful rows offer a details link for additional information such as ASN and time zone. Do not assume addresses under the same provider belong to one person. Grouping provides network context, not individual identity verification.
Keep failed rows visible
Invalid syntax, private addressing, and provider quotas are different failure causes. Keep failed entries with their reasons instead of silently discarding them. CSV output includes both successful and unsuccessful results. For larger workloads, consider the provider’s total usage limit; refreshing the page does not reset it.
A mixed example list
Enter 8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1, 192.168.1.1, and invalid-address on separate lines. If the provider responds, the first two may return public network data; the private address has no public location and the last input is invalid. Repeating 8.8.8.8 queries that string once. Keep failed rows visible rather than reporting the whole batch as successful.
Put it into practice
Inspect one public IP, or compare a list of addresses with the bulk lookup tool. Location results are approximate.
